What Is A Google Adense Pin And Why Do We Need It?

When you have accumulated an amount that reaches Google Adsense’s verification threshold, Google Adsense will mail you a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to the payment address you provided to Google upon signing up for the Google Adsense program. This is just one of the security precautions that Google Adsense placed for the protection of their publishers; and it is very important because it will protect your personal information you have supplied to Google.

Once your PIN number has been mailed to you, your account payments will be put on hold until you have entered the PIN that is assigned to your

account. You could still access your Adsense account and continue to earn money; you
just will not be paid until the correct PIN is entered. If the PIN hasn’t been entered within a year, Google will disable your account.

To enter your PIN after you have received it in the mail, simply log into your Google Adsense account. Go to the My Account tab, then click on Edit. Update the appropriate field as instructed on the mailed letter then click Submit Changes. This is also be a good time to check your personal data and contact information to make sure it is correct. You are now eligible to receive your first Google Adsense check. Happy Adsense earnings!
